Shaolin Meditations (Genetic Chi) is the result of an inspirational sonic collaboration between Pablo Infinity (P.Whaley, Bored Stiff) and Take 5 (Canada). Several years in the making, it combines masterfully crafted lush downtempo and far-eastern inspired instrumentals, snippets of Shaolin martial arts wisdom from the 80s TV series "Kung Fu" and the immortal Bruce Lee. In fact, the 'Kung Fu' series was originally written for Bruce Lee, but racist Hollywood execs refused to allow a Chinese man to star in an American tv series (so they gave the role to David Carradine, and Bruce returned to Hong Kong to become a star). We hope this album provides your mind, body, and spirit with inner strength at the genetic level. Enjoy.
