Keep Jazz Alive is a documentary-style concept album for educational and inspirational purposes. It's a fusion of jazz inspired beats interlaced with originals and oral history from the jazz greats. The beats represent sounds of my life over the past 15 years, some old some new. Most were created using the NI Maschine and a few of the older ones were made on the Yamaha Motif. I also used a good amount of analog outboard gear in the mastering process to achieve the sound I was after. Hopefully you enjoy the sonic journey. It's my tribute to the music that gave me life.
